Browsers

Browsers are one of the most important dependencies that ATB relies on. Awesome Traffic Bot uses browsers to do the automated tasks. ATB seamlessly interacts with Chromium and Firefox through its built-in bridge

They're two prominent browser engines in the world: Webkit and Gecko.

Webkit is being used by lots of famous browsers like Chrome, Edge, Safari, Brave and even App stores, etc. Gecko is also being used by Firefox.

So, technically for simulating over 99% of the browsers in the market, using chromium and firefox is sufficent. ATB simulates Edge browser by using Chromium as they both have same web engine.

Browsers are solely responsible for more than 90% of hardware resources usage by ATB. Most resources are being used by browsers to simulate the actions, load the websites, and creating a whole new browser profile for each visitor.

The bot changes the hardware fingerprints of the browsers. For instance it changes the GPU Vendor, CPU, RAM, user-agent, timezone, webRTC, etc. The bot will automatically match the language, timezone and WEBRTC of the browsers with the changed IP.
