Requirements
Software
- Windows 10 or 11 (a patch file is needed for Windows 8.1). For VPS/servers: Windows Server 2016 or above.
- .NET 8 Desktop Runtime — the installer sets this up if it's missing.
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 redistributable.
- A modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) to open the control panel.
Hardware
- RAM: 4 GB minimum, 8 GB or more recommended.
- CPU: 4 cores / 2.2 GHz or better.
- Disk: allow several GB of free space — every visitor gets its own temporary browser profile, and saved profiles/logs grow over time (see Housekeeping).
As a rule of thumb, each free CPU core can handle roughly 5–10 threads. A 12-core CPU can typically run 60–120 threads if RAM and connection speed keep up. The app measures your machine and shows a Max Threads Capacity estimate on the Settings page, and the AutoPilot feature can manage the thread count for you.
Per connection method
Depending on how you want to change IPs:
- Dalga IPs / your own proxies — nothing extra; everything happens inside the app.
- PPPoE (bridge) mode — a LAN cable, an ISP/router that supports PPPoE bridge mode with a dynamic IP, and a PPPoE (broadband) connection configured in Windows. Orange-branded routers are unsupported.
- Android phone mode — an Android phone with an active mobile-data SIM, connected over USB (USB debugging enabled).
- VPN mode — credentials of a VPN provider that offers manual (OpenVPN) configuration files.
